Dr. Mary Traverse, DC

Dr. Mary received her Doctorate in Chiropractic from Parker College of Chiropractic (now Parker University) in 1997. She also holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Human Anatomy. She attended chiropractic school specifically to practice Network, having been a Network practice member since 1989, several years before beginning chiropractic school.

Mary has attended countless Network seminars and functions and has worked closely with Dr. Donny Epstein, the founder of Network. She has achieved multiple Network certifications, since 2001. Dr. Mary is happily married and is the proud Mom of 3 grown sons and has five grandchildren.

Mary and her husband Greg not only run the practice but also their organic/sustainable ranch in Oatmeal, Bertram, Texas. (Little Farma Ranch—-where food is medicine!) They share their carefully managed land with their horses, cows, chickens, dogs, cats, and a cheeky African Grey parrot.

Mary and Greg are avid cooks, “foodies” to the max, and enjoy cooking not only for themselves and their family but also for their guests and practice members who attend retreats and workshops at the ranch. The farm features beautiful year-round vegetable gardens and a wonderful organic fruit orchard.  Organic eggs are available for purchase, from our vibrant flock of chickens, pastured laying hens. Occasionally throughout the year, fabulous grass-fed beef is also available.

Kelly Jones, NL-EP (sep in process)

Kelly Jones, passionate about reconnecting humans to intuition and joy, is an author, horse lover, photographer, mindfulness expert, life and trauma-recovery coach, retreat leader, equine behaviorist, somatic experiencing practitioner in-training and certified equine professional with the Natural Lifemanship Institute. Having experienced many challenges and setbacks in her own life, Kelly knows firsthand how devastating these experiences can be. After many years of seeking intentional healing, she discovered a new life transformed by learning about presence and rediscovering her own essential self, and then set out to bring this freedom to others. Currently, Kelly sees clients at her ranch in Colorado, and provides coaching on ZOOM, while partnering with other professionals to lead retreats in the United States.

For over two decades, Kelly has been on a deeply personal journey to explore this connection and relationship with self, others, and the universe. Having partnered with 16 licensed therapists providing thousands of hours of equine mental health services to clients, leading wellness and corporate retreats and providing coaching services, she has gratefully provided clients with support and guidance as they journey to healing, overcoming destructive patterns, releasing fears, and tackling the lingering symptoms of past traumas. Reconnecting to True Self is a very personal journey for each person, focusing on heart-centered awareness through presence, intention-setting and exploring body sensations. Experiencing these sensations in the presence of horses, while in nature, is transformational, with science-based methods demonstrating a reduction in the symptoms of trauma.

Equine welfare is a top priority for Kelly, and her deep love and respect for these gracious sentient beings grows daily. Horses must be safe and free of pain to be present, willing, and able to provide authentic feedback, and it is this attention to every response that provides the information needed to help humans heal. This ability is the beautiful connection that Kelly has with horses that has helped so many humans reconnect to True Self, process through traumas and discover intuition and a reawakening of senses. With a lifelong passion for learning, she continuously pursues knowledge and training in equine facilitated activities and therapy, mindfulness, spirituality, somatic experiencing, trauma, neuroscience, horse care, and behavior.

Kelly received a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration in Marketing from Texas Tech University and has also worked as an Equine Consultant to many ranches and resorts including the award-winning Miraval Resort and Spa and The Retreat at Balcones Springs. She is a mother to her beloved two children, and in her spare time, she enjoys fly fishing, skiing, hiking, reading and gardening. Her first book “Unbridled Connection: Soul Discovery Through Nature and Horses” was published in 2020.
